We met at a BBQ in Dallas, TX both working for Allstate at the time as National Catastrophe adjusters. We were young and cool. Skinny and less tired. We talked the entire night. He lived in Michigan and I lived in New York at the time.

After two and a half months we decided this was meant to be so we took the next obvious step in our relationship. Get pregnant.....WE'RE GOING TO BE PARENTS!

We bought our first home in Simsbury, CT! (Scarlett wasn't born yet but I like this picture)

We bought our current home and my Bob Villa Brawny paper towel guy decided he was going to renovate it BEFORE we moved in. After a week of him acting weird and accomplishing painting one room (in the wrong color), he popped the question! I cried and said yes but I won't admit to that again. I assume he was probably under the influence of paint fumes...

We moved into our current home in Beulah, MI! Current population, 310. Scarlett and I tripled the hispanic demographic for the county.

We decided life was too easy so we decided to have our second! Little did we know...

Somewhere along the line I got nervous that both my children would be on Team Dad and I will never know what unconditional love is. So I bought it. We got our middle child, Potato. Scarlett named her. Best barking cat a family could ask for.

Selena Rose Ritthaler was born, very chubby and healthy. She was not happy about the eviction.

We brought our very chubby baby Selena home!

Our adorable little family is complete and now ready to be flower girls so we decided to finally book our venue! 7 years and a lot to be thankful for. The order of events were untraditional but we wouldn't change a thing.
