There is limited space at Brown Mountain Beach Resort. We wish everyone could stay onsite. That would be the most fun. That said, close family and those with limited mobility will be prioritized. We want everyone to be safe. There will be a trolley transportation available on the wedding day only. The trolley will go between Brown Mountain and the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Morganton. Schedule is posted in the Travel tab on this website!

Dressy Casual Attire: Please arrive in dressy casual attire, which is anything that is stylish yet comfortable. The ceremony will be seated, on the beach in pews. After the party will be on the newly renovated deck and within the Rock Pavilion. Only obstacle to navigate is a brief walk on fairly firm sand with oriental rugs providing some traction.

There is NO cell service at Brown Mountain. Which is awesome. Unplugged and in the moment is a huge part of why we love this venue! There are two places onsite that have WiFi, the passwords are posted at the venue and easily accessed. Pro tip: Download or Screen Shot maps before getting within 20 minutes of the venue. Tell those who normally reach you that you wont be available & enjoy the freedom from your phone!!

The venue has a creek with kayaks, paddleboards, innertubes and beach area to hang out. Bring a bathing suit just in case! Those staying on site, your cabin or yurt has a hot tub!
