We first met in January 2019, when Stephen lived in Chicago and Zack lived in Cincinnati. Due to the extreme cold (-60 with wind chill) in Chicago, Stephen decided to escape to Ohio where it was a balmy 35 degrees. We #swipedright and stayed in touch until April, when they had their first date at Taste of Belgium in Cincinnati’s Banks district. Both of us quickly realized a connection, and began dutifully commuting back and forth for the next few months. In early 2020, Zack moved to Chicago and we were finally in the same area code. As the pandemic raged on, we decided to move back to Cincinnati into the three unit house that we had been renovating.
