At just under an hour's drive from San Diego, Temecula is a charming valley surrounded by vineyards and rolling hills, with temperate weather and mountains rising in the distance. Temecula is well known for its championship golf courses, a climate perfect for serene and beautiful hot-air ballooning adventures, and award-winning wineries nestled in 3,000 acres of picturesque wine country. There is an endless supply of things to fill your glass with in Temecula Valley.

Things to do in Temecula Valley include wine tasting, winery tours, dining, equestrian, hot air ballooning, golfing, bicycling, hiking, swimming and sunbathing, gaming, spa treatments, shopping, live music, special events, and much more. There are nearly 50 wineries, over a dozen breweries, two meaderies, and two distilleries – all with spectacular tasting rooms. (STEAMY TIP: one of our favorite Temecula wineries, Akash, is just a 4 minute drive from the wedding venue. Check it out if you have a chance while you're in the area!)
