If you have seen The Office, then you get the gist of Steven & Ashley's story. If you haven't watched it, you will be denied entrance to the wedding...Just kidding! ;)

Steven and Ashley met for the first time on May 13th, 2019 when Ashley started working at the same company where Steven was working. During the welcome breakfast for Ashley that morning, she made a joke that did not land and that's when she first sparked Steven's interest. Ashley was getting used to the new environment for the first several weeks of work, but developed an interest in Steven when he was able to identify the exact Red Hot Chili Peppers song she was playing in her car as she drove past the front door of the office one morning.

After a company BBQ a couple months later, a group of friends at the office decided to keep the party going in downtown Santa Cruz which was the catalyst for this relationship's beginning. The two were really hitting it off and after a few drinks, Steven asked if he could put his arm around Ashley. In that moment, they both felt something special that they knew was the real thing.

Life threw so many challenges their way in the beginning of the relationship, but both feel that they have come out of that period much stronger as individuals and as a couple. Since then, their relationship has been filled with countless concerts, trips, and jokes that have made up some of the best experiences of their lives so far. They have become a strong support system and have an incredible love for each other. Steven and Ashley are so excited to start the journey of being a married couple and to enjoy all of the life changes that will follow!

Fun Fact: We did not plan this when we picked our date, but we will be sharing this wedding date with Ashley's great grandparents and Steven's brother & sister-in-law (Brian & Katy Eichhorn)!
