Our Story

They say love has a way of finding you when you least expect it. For us, that couldn’t be truer. Though we grew up across the street from one another for over twenty years, our paths didn’t truly cross until much later in our lives. It’s incredible to think that for decades, we lived just steps away from each other, unaware that our greatest love was waiting right there, just beyond the other side of the road. As time went on, our friendship grew naturally, built on laughter, long conversations, and the kind of effortless understanding that only comes with true connection. We always felt a pull toward each other, an undeniable bond, but life had a way of keeping us apart. Timing never seemed to be on our side—until it was. It all began with a simple request. Lisette, determined that this would be the final time she asked, invited Steven to hang out. And this time, he said yes. That moment unknowingly became the beginning of everything. What was meant to be a casual evening turned into something so much more. Yet, Lisette was convinced it was just dinner between “friends.” Looking back now, we both smile at the irony. That ‘not-a-date’ turned out to be the first chapter of our forever. It was in that moment—between shared stories, easy laughter, and the warmth of being in each other’s presence—that we realized we were exactly where we were always meant to be. Sometimes, love isn’t about the perfect timing but rather the perfect person. And for us, love was never far away—it was just waiting for the right moment to bloom.
