Our story begins in the Fall of 2014 at Colorado State University where we met our freshman year of college in the dorms. Our friend Parisa asked Summer if she had met everyone on the hall yet. Summer said no, and was then dragged by Parisa to meet everyone in the hall, including Brock and his roommate just a few doors away. From our initial meeting, we clicked right away! We spent tons of hours together just hanging out, doing schoolwork or playing on intermural sports, becoming really great friends over our first few months in college. Around Christmas time that year, Summer told Brock that she had really strong feelings for him. He agreed, but for the sake of their friendship, decided to not pursue things further. What a gentleman! Horrible I know!

Over the course of Christmas break, Brock couldn't leave Summer alone. Constant texting, calling, just desperate to talk to her. Desperation wasn't Brock's best color... After Christmas break, our relationship grew even stronger and on February 7th, Brock officially asked Summer to be his girlfriend.

At the end of freshmen year in May, after we packed up Brock's car in the parking lot of Braiden Hall, we started to say our goodbyes. In that moment, we said our first "I Love Yous"!

Throughout our nine years together, we have gotten to know each other families which we hold dear to our hearts, sharing laughs with all our friends who we adore, and growing our little family of fur babies; Paco, Ruda, and Rengar.

We have grown so much as a couple, learning from each other and running through life these past eight years. Celebrating our love with our favorite people this next fall will truly be our best day and we can't wait!
