Our First Year! First pictures, first kisses, and first "I love yous"

Our story begins in the Fall of 2014 at Colorado State University where we met our freshman year of college in the dorms. Our friend Parisa asked Summer if she had met everyone on the hall yet. Summer said no, and was then dragged by Parisa to meet everyone in the hall, including Brock and his roommate just a few doors away. From our initial meeting, we clicked right away! We spent tons of hours together just hanging out, doing schoolwork or playing on intermural sports, becoming really great friends over our first few months in college. Around Christmas time that year, Summer told Brock that she had really strong feelings for him. He agreed, but for the sake of their friendship, decided to not pursue things further. What a gentleman! Horrible I know!Over the course of Christmas break, Brock couldn't leave Summer alone. Constant texting, calling, just desperate to talk to her. Desperation wasn't Brock's best color... After Christmas break, our relationship grew even stronger and on February 7th, Brock officially asked Summer to be his girlfriend.At the end of freshmen year in May, after we packed up Brock's car in the parking lot of Braiden Hall, we started to say our goodbyes. In that moment, we said our first "I Love Yous"! Throughout our nine years together, we have gotten to know each other families which we hold dear to our hearts, sharing laughs with all our friends who we adore, and growing our little family of fur babies; Paco, Ruda, and Rengar. We have grown so much as a couple, learning from each other and running through life these past eight years. Celebrating our love with our favorite people this next fall will truly be our best day and we can't wait! Cheers!

Our Story

The wedding ceremony and reception are both hosted at the Black Canyon Inn.If you want to be close to the action and not have to worry about driving we highly encourage staying here! On property, they have a mix of 26 condos (1bd, 2bd and 3bd) and 14 hotel suites that can be reserved. These units are individually owned, VRBO style, and are booked on a first come first reserve basis and availability can be found on their website: www.blackcanyoninn.com Guests are able to book directly online or by calling the lodging office at 970-586-8113. They are not able to offer room blocks or discounted group rates onsite unfortunately.Book ASAP as they fill up fast :)Check in: Check in is at 4:00 p.m. for all condo and cabin rentals at Black Canyon Inn. Please request early check in if you are arriving day of, they not able to guarantee early check in but can accommodate. Best to arrive early! If you will be arriving after the management office is closed for the evening, please contact them for the simple after-hours check in option which will allow you to get settled comfortably into your rental as soon as you arrive into town.Departure Time: Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. Please drop your keys by the front office before your departure. If you depart prior to the office opening, there is a drop box located just outside of the office door.
