When should we arrive?
If you are wanting to only attend the ceremony and/or reception, then we would recommend arriving 15-20 minutes before it starts. However, if you are staying on camp grounds and are staying in a cabin, you are welcome to show up at any point Friday or Saturday to hang out with us. There will be plenty of yard games, water activities, and places to hike around.
We're from out of town... Can we stay the night?
YES PLEASE!
Since we chose a middle ground geographically, everyone will be traveling from out of town. We want everyone to be safe (NO drinking and driving) and feel like they are able to attend.
Options for staying the night include staying in a cabin directly on camp grounds (recommended and free!), RV space with no hookups onsite, tent camping onsite and in certain areas of McCall, as well as bnb's or hotels in the local McCall area.
If I am staying in a cabin, what should I bring?
The cabins provide mattresses on bunk beds, so bring a sleeping bag and pillow or blankets, along with anything else you need for an overnight stay. There are full community bathrooms and showers near the lodge, as well as bathrooms in each village.
Where is the ceremony and reception?
The ceremony is located at the "fire circle" on the map. It is the south eastern point of the property overlooking the water. The reception will be located at the lodge. Please see the map for more specific details.
Can we bring our kids?
YES! We have lots of family members with little ones. Family is the most important thing in our lives and we would love for everyone to be able to attend.
Can I bring a plus one?
At this time we are only able to accommodate for the number of guests listed on your invitation/RSVP. If you think that there is an error, please contact us.
Can we bring our dog(s)?
Unfortunately, our furry friends are not allowed on camp grounds.
Is there a dress code?
We want you to feel comfortable in whatever you choose to wear, especially since we will be in the outdoors. We would recommend a dressy casual outfit. If you want to match the theme, our colors are taupe and navy, but that's definitely not required :)
Be sure to bring some warm clothes for the after party!
Can I take pictures and post on social media?
We are choosing to have an unplugged ceremony, meaning no cell phones or cameras during the ceremony itself. We want everyone to be present and enjoy the special moment with us. We want to see your faces while at the altar, not your phones. Our photographer will capture the ceremony and we will share those photos with you. At any time other than the ceremony, capture as many photos as you'd like and we would love for you to share them however you please. We will have a shared photo album that we'd love for you to contribute to!
