Emily (Emberlum) is Shaylors oldest friend. We first officially met in 2011 on a trip to Washington D.C. with my moms best friends. Although we met when I was 10 I feel as if I have known her my whole life. She fills the role of best friend, cousin, and sister all wrapped into the most genuine person I know.

From meeting each other on the school bus in 5th grade to becoming my bridesmaid, Addie has been my ride or die. She is probably the funniest person I know and is such a loyal friend. Through middle school, high school, cheer seasons, FFA, and much more Addie has been by my side for it all. It only makes sense to have her with me for this too. Love you.

Carli and I also met on the bus in 5th grade (perks of us all living in the same neighborhood). I'm pretty sure she was the one to first introduce herself and invited me to sit with them. It seems like every weekend from the years 2011-2019 we were at her house. She has the most bubbly, outgoing, and spontaneous personality of anyone I have met. I couldn't imagine this day happening without her. Much love.

Jillian and I met in the PSU marching band and bonded over all our shared classes. Once we survived Dr. Chungs microbiology course I knew we would be study buddies for the rest of college. Then nursing school came around and that's a whole different level of shared struggles. Nonetheless Jill has no doubt been the reason I made it through.

Emily and I met in the saxophone section during marching band although we didn't become close until nursing school. This girl is literally top of our class but don't let her fool you, she knows how to party. I need that same energy 11/4.

Claire is the sole reason why any of us know anything in our nursing classes. She has singlehandedly taken the responsibility of teaching all of us and all of our GPAs thank her. She is cool, calm, and collected, all traits I admire. I know she'll be the one that'll rally us all together to get stuff done on the day.

Kylie is another important member in our nursing school group. She is the busiest out of all of us with her being in the Army. How she handles school, ROTC, and a social life I will never know. She is the baddest B for sure. Hopefully well relive all of this at her and Jakobs wedding!

Tanner and I have been together for my entire life. He has been there for long talks about life and been there every time I have needed him. He has even been living with Shaylor and I for the past year and has been able to see us grow closer and closer. A great role model for me growing up and can’t wait for him to be next to me at the altar.

Ryne and I have been friends together since Pre-K. We grew up together playing baseball, going swimming in his pool, and endlessly playing MLB on the X-box. Even though Ryne and I went to different high schools and colleges, no amount of time between talking or distance changed the fact that we will be brothers for life.

Ryan is an amazing guy that I can’t wait to call my brother. Ryan, Shaylor, and I all got to bond on our adventure to New York that consisted of being stranded for a day in Minneapolis. He brings a relaxed presence to any situation. He is always down to have fun and go on adventures so of course I wanted him to go on this adventure with me.

Jamal is the life of the party in any situation he is put in. From the moment I met him my senior year, we have grown into a brotherhood that consists of us egging each other on until we both break down in laughter. As much as we can annoy each other he would stand by me to take on an entire football team (that is not hyperbolic in any way). A brotherhood like that is why I knew he had to stand by me for a day that will create so many memories.

Raj and I met late sophomore year through Student Government and have been friends ever since. From endless meetings for Student Government to countless trips to buffalo wild wings Raj has always been by my side to help me with anything at any time and had no hesitations asking him to be by my side for such a big day.

Jack, or “dad”, as he is most commonly referred to. Is an amazing role model that was always incredibly kind and helpful to me from the first day I got to college band camp. Since then, we were right next to each other every game heckling the other team, screaming our lungs out, and having an amazing time drumming together. He has been an amazing role model for growing up and surviving college and I had to have him next to me again for such a big day.

Chase is one of the most reliable friends I have ever had. He has always been there when I needed him. From late night talks by the fire, lighting fireworks in the streets, to late night talks about life on the porch he has always been someone that listens and wants to help. He is one of kindest souls I have ever met and can’t wait for him to share such a special moment with me.

Frank has been a constant in our relationship from the beginning. Frank and his wife Shauna are Shaylor’s uncle and aunt and they are the sweetest most generous people we know. Their house has always been open to be a home away from home and been the loving parental figures that were always right down the road. When we were deciding who we should choose to be our officiant, we had no second thoughts. We knew that Frank has been with us, and seen us grow so much over the past almost 3 years and knew that he would be the perfect man to marry us. We love you so much Frank and Shauna and can’t wait for you guys to celebrate with us on our big day!
