John Maxwell is Sunya's younger brother. John lives in North Pole with Tiffany, and is just a few minutes away from Sunya and Chris. John works for the union as a heavy diesel mechanic in Fairbanks and is the proud father of "Stitch" the corgi. John and Sunya continue to go outdoors together like they did growing up, either on the boat that John built, four wheelers and snowmachines. I can honestly say that having Johns continuous support through the up's and downs of growing up, has helped get me to where I am at today. I could have not done it without my brothers constant encouragement and love.

Tiffany is engaged to John, and has been apart of the Maxwell clan for 13 years. She is the wonderful mother of Carson and a fierce manager at Princess. Although Tiffany does not always enjoy the fine and pleasant misery of some hunts that John and Sunya go on, she has always supported their "hobbies", to include recently joining fishing trips to Chitina, as well as moose camp. Tiffany's love and commitment to not only John and the family, but also for Sunya has been a beautiful blessing. I am so happy to have her as my Maid of Honor, she has helped me in so many way through so many years, I couldn't imagine anyone else by my side.

Although Chris and Shaun are not related by blood, Shaun stepped up to the role as an older brother for Chris at a young age. Shaun is an international man mystery. Shaun and Chris don't get to spent as much time together as they would like, but regularly remain in contact. Shaun continues to be supportive of Chris and did so as his Best Man. He had an amazing adventure during his first time in Alaska. "Blaze this trail as a beacon and inspiration to others"
