Groom and his family's procession to the bride's house accompanied by music.

Once the groom's family reaches the brides house, members of her family will have symbolic "gates" that he must pass in order to reach her.

The couple will have a white string tied around their heads by an elder which symbolizes their union. This is followed by the "rod nam san" where friends and family can line up and pour water over the bride and groom's hands while offering well wishes and advice for a good life together.

Lunch will be a buffet from various vendors serving various Thai and northern Thai style foods and desserts.
