A short 30 minute drive north of the city, Dantewada is a gorgeous cafe with trails leading to many different themed areas for photos. See man made waterfalls, rivers, lots of greenery and even a small petting zoo. Best to visit on a week day, it does get very busy on weekends.
Open since 1942, this is the best place to have a classic Northern Thai style dish called Khao Soi. Conveniently located across the street from our venue, this place is a great hole in the wall spot for a cheap lunch. Also try the chicken skewers and Thai tea!
Over 600 years old, Wat Chedi Luang is one of the largest temples you will find within Old Town Chiang Mai's moat area. Its stupa was damaged by an earthquake in 1545 which is why it has such a unique shape. If you choose to visit any temples on your trip, please dress appropriately by covering your shoulders and wearing pants that touch your knees.
