How It Started

October 2019:

Sydney boarded a flight to Florida where she sat on an aisle seat across from Brad. Not knowing their future, Sydney thought Brad was very attractive. Luckily for Sydney, her college friend, Andrew Boeckmann, was on the same flight and worked with Brad. After finding out his name through Andrew, Sydney crept on Brad on LinkedIn. Thinking she would never see him again, Sydney moved on.

March 2020: "The First Day"

Sydney got invited by Andrew Boeckmann, same friend from the plane 6 months prior, to go bowling with him and a "work friend". When Sydney showed up, she immediately recognized Brad as "the hot guy from the plane"... Brad had no idea who Sydney was & didn't remember the plane encounter/meeting at all. Clearly Sydney did not leave an impression on Brad... yet.

That night Sydney and Brad stayed out together at the Casino playing Blackjack until 3AM. In true gentleman form, Brad drove Sydney home and, respectfully, asked Sydney for her number. Before Sydney woke up the next morning, Brad worked out and invited Sydney to hang out with him and a group of his friends. Sydney and her best friend & Maid of Honor, Francesca Jansen, went to meet up with Brad, where Brad proceeded to insult Sydney's cat, Tito. If you know Sydney, you know this was a big red flag.

How It Went

Ten days later, the world shut down due to COVID, and Brad's living situation made it impossible for him to work at his apartment. So, basically immediately after meeting, Brad moved in, quarantined, and lived with Sydney during a global pandemic. Four months later, Brad "officially" moved into Sydney's condo & Brad became obsessed with Tito.

They knew that if we could make it through the "honeymoon phase", a global pandemic and lockdown, working from home (both in sales), and living together, that it MUST be meant to be.

They became inseparable and the best of friends (the Bonnie to his Clyde... minus the murders) that complimented each other flawlessly. Brad put Sydney in her place when needed, and Sydney taught Brad how to co-live with a female and a cat.

Thanks to COVID, their relationship sped up and became serious quickly. By the end of 2020, they bought their current home in Norwood, OH. A home, in which they hope to grow their family by giving Tito (human) siblings.

March 2022: "The Yes Day"

Brad proposed to Sydney in the most special way and surprised her by having both of their parents there to witness.
