Nicholas started working at Jack's Fruit and Meat Market as a senior in high school. This is where he met Sydni for the first time as she was already an employee here for a couple years.

Nick and Sydni had become good friends throughout the year. Nick got Sydni's contact through another coworker and texted her for the first time.

After a few weeks of texting Nick asked Sydni to go to Cottage Creamery for ice cream....they stood in the parking lot talking until 1am afterwards (the store had closed). Sydni's family was worried about her since she never stayed out this late and she wasn't answering her phone.

Nick decided to transfer from Delta to Northwood to play on their men's soccer team and pursue a Bachelor's in Computer Science. Due to soccer commitments he decided to put in his two weeks at Jack's. Sydni and him had continued to hangout outside of work, meeting up to play basketball, go for a walk, or watch Outer Banks.

Sydni went back to commuting to CMU for her junior year of undergrad and Nick started his freshmen year at Northwood. It was a busy time but they both made time to see each other in their busy weeks.

Nick officially asked Sydni to be his girlfriend!

During the first year Nick and Sydni spent a lot of timing meeting each other's family and friends while spending all of their 1st holidays together.

Year two together came with Sydni starting her first year of Physical Therapy school at CMU while Nick finished up his final year at Northwood.

Year three! Nick was working at Dow and Sydni was almost halfway through PT school.

Nicholas proposes! Sydni had just got back from her school trip to Ireland a week prior and was finally back to her normal schedule. She was going for a walk with Nick at Dow Gardens when he popped the question.
