Details 

The ceremony will begin at 3:30pm at Zion Lutheran Church located at 1557 Seidlers Rd, Auburn, MI 48611. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to find a seat. The reception will follow immediately after with cocktail hour beginning at 4:30pm and dinner around 6:00pm. It will be at the Great Hall located at 5121 Bay City Rd, Midland, MI 48642.

Our Story

Sydni's bestie since 8th grade! Sydni met Kara on her travel volleyball team in 8th grade and then became closer with her when they started attending Valley Lutheran High School together. Fun fact: in high school they became so close and similar that they were known as Kyd ( Kara + Syd). Kara has always made sure Sydni has felt supported through every stage of life. 

Kara Brechtelsbauer 

Sydni's bff since 1st grade!! They met when Sydni transferred to Zion Lutheran for school. Abby hit Sydni in the face when trying to push open a door during school orientation...they became best friends immediately. Abby will forever be Sydni's favorite travel partner as they have explored Chicago, New York, and many islands together.

Abby Arndt 

Sydni met Jaiden on her first day of physics lab in undergraduate school at CMU. They became lab partners for the whole year! Since then they are now going to graduate school at the same physical therapy program at CMU (they graduate in May and couldn't be more excited). Sydni is thankful for a friend like Jaiden to get through PT school with. 

Jaiden Schulte

Sydni met Eden her first year at Valley Lutheran High School and they quickly became a part of the same friend group. Fun fact: Eden and Sydni went to a Michigan football game every year for 5 years in row! Eden has always been one of Sydni's go to friends when she needs a person to rant to. 

Eden Belill

Greg is Nicholas's older brother and lifelong best friend.  They grew up together hanging out with Greg's friends and share many priceless memories. They have been through everything together in life, the highest highs and the lowest lows. Nicholas's fondest memories with Greg include many up north trips to Glen Arbor/Traverse City, many nights of Call of Duty/2K/Fifa gaming, and many training days of playing soccer/basketball together. Greg has been the best big brother Nicholas could ask for, and Nicholas couldn't imagine life growing up without Greg.

Greg Long

Alex is Nicholas's older step brother. Nicholas met Alex ages ago at a Midland High football game. Although the age gap was very prevalent early on, Alex and Nicholas have always had a nerdy side to them where they clicked on things like video games and computers. Fast forward to today and that sentiment still holds true. They have shared many great memories, a lot of which came from Minecraft LAN games and South Park episodes.

Alex Gall

Nick is Sydni's little brother and great friend to Nicholas. Fun fact, because there were two Nick's in Sydni's life, very early on Sydni's dad coined the nickname NHL - Nicholas's initials. Over 4 years later, that nickname still very much is in use and Nicholas finds it weird when he isn't called that. Nick and NHL have had many great memories playing Rocket League and basketball together.

Nick Klein 

Josh met Nicholas many many years ago on a soccer game trip. Greg and Josh played travel soccer for the Midland Fusion team and instantly clicked because of their passion for the game and relentless work ethic. From there, Greg and Josh had became best friends which in turn meant Nicholas became very good friends with Josh too. Nicholas and Josh have grown up together as well, spending countless nights playing video games or soccer training together. Nicholas is thankful that Josh is a nerd just like himself and that they both share their love for sports as well.

You must reserve your hotel room by May 27th, 2026 in order to receive the group rate. Rooms can be reserved for just one night or two nights. After the ceremony at Zion, transportation from the Fairfield to the Great Hall will begin at 4:30pm. Transportation from the Great Hall to the Fairfield will happen until the reception is over and everyone is back to the hotel.

When is my RSVP due?

We ask that you have your RSVP in by May 26, 2026 at the latest. This way we have time to inform our vendor which meal you have chosen specifically and plan our seating arrangements accordingly.
