Our Favorite Story

While quarantine was dreadful for some, for us, it was a blessing. Little did we know, when the world shut down, we would soon meet our favorite person. It all started when we swiped right on each other. We hit it off immediately when we realized how much we had in common. Most of our time spent together was filled with laughter, dancing, sports, and smiles. Our conversations flowed easily and there was never a dull moment. It didn't take us long to realize we had found our forever.

Our first date was during quarantine at the house we now live in. Katie set up a wine tasting tour at the house. If you're lucky enough to know our first date story, you know this is when it all began!

Al had me over to his place and made spaghetti for dinner. While we were eating he asked me to be his girlfriend. The song "Dive" played by Luke Combs was playing and it became our song.

We adopted our sweet Joe and closed on our first house! The house where we had our first date. Joe quickly stole our heart and became the favorite family member.

WE'RE ENGAGED!! While we were walking to ride the London Eye, Al stopped a random couple and asked them to take a picture of us. He actually had them take a video. Big Ben and Parliament were in the background along with the London Eye and someone was playing music on a guitar. He got down on a knee and asked me to marry him.
