Where it all started... First date Max picked Tali up (with flowers), held every door open, and took her on a sunset hike at the Rim of the City in La Crosse! And since Max is such a sweetie, he did in fact take this photo on our first date. "Just in case it ended up being something very special!!"

Our second date, Max took Tali on a sunrise hike at the Mathe Quarry where we got to enjoy a stunning view of the bluffs and get to know each other better! A random man did in fact yell over to us that "if a guy does something this romantic, you should marry him!!" Also notable that later this afternoon Max insisted Tali help him make a Halloween costume, which included short jorts. Don't ask.

Max asked Tali to be his lady officially, with true Max fashion of a Haiku scavenger hunt after a lovely dinner :) To this day, even though Tali asked "Are dates/anniversaries important to you? Because they are to me!" she consistently thinks it is the 11th and is a month ahead. Oops.

Max visits Tali's hometown for the first time!! Happened to be thanksgiving, got to meet the parents, Tali's friend Bret, and also got to see our first concert (Trampled by Turtles!)

Tali got to visit River Falls!! A grand ole time, meeting the homies, going to a wedding, and exploring the waterfalls!

One of our many adventures we've gotten to share! Hiking at Perrot State Park (it was 0 degrees), a cute coffee stop afterwards, and lots of laughs along the way.

Max was an absolute sweetie and would often stop by and bring coffee before her morning classes, or between exams. Also Max single handedly keeps the floral section of Festival in business :)

Max graduated Med school!!! WOOO! He also got into his Residency Program at Mayo in La Crosse!

Max visits Chaska again on his way to South Korea to visit friends! Little did I know, the man had a secret mission as well...

Tali moved to Chippewa Falls for a clinical rotation! Max came to visit, we got to run from a thunderstorm in the woods (literally), and explore a new home!

Max moves into a house!! Our cute lil home that we get to rent while Max is in Residency, which we have loved getting to settle into.

OUR FAVORITE DAY!!!! (until June 7th) Max planned everything beautifully and coordinated with our favorite people to pull it all off. He asked at the place where we shared our first date in the most thoughtful and beautiful way

We celebrated our engagement with a trip to the Porcupine Mountains!! A week up north, camping, avoiding tornados, and getting even more excited about the next adventure ahead: wedding planning woooo!
