Our Wedding

We’re Talia and Dylan — two people who secretly crushed on each other for years during college but never quite found the right time to say it. We were always a little too shy, a little too taken, and the timing was always just... off.Fast forward to January 2023 — the stars (and tequila) finally aligned. We ran into each other at The Great American Ranch bar, just days before Talia started PA school. One of Talia's friends, Alyssa, spotted Dylan across the bar and pointed him out. With a bold mix of fate and tequila sunrises, Talia stood on her chair and shouted, “DYLAN!” across the crowd. Dylan turned, smiled, said a brief hello, and walked away…for a moment.After confirming she wasn’t there with another man (and a quick beer for liquid courage), Dylan came back — and bought her another tequila sunrise in exchange for her phone number. We had our first date the very next Friday.What started as a chance reunion quickly became everything we were waiting for.And now? We can’t wait to say “I do.”

We highly recommend booking your stay as early as possible.Charlottesville is home to UVA, and since we’re getting married during peak football season, hotels and Airbnbs will fill up quickly, especially with a home game scheduled the same weekend of the wedding!You are not required to stay at any of the hotels listed below. What do I wear?

Attire: funky formal. Suit jackets are not required. Polos, knee-length dresses, &amp; jumpsuits are all okay. Got a funky dress or a color suit you never get to wear? Time to get it out of your closet and on the dance floor! The vibe? 70s glam VIP disco party! We're talking sequins, color, metallics, bold prints, and platforms. Leave the black-tie and your neutrals at home - this is a fun, groovy, retro affair! So let's boogie! For those from out of town. VA weather can be... unpredictable. Typically, early October average daily highs range from the mid-50s to mid-70s, and lows from the low-40s to mid-50s.
