Talia and Mac's story began before they'd ever met, thanks to their shared goal of playing Division I lacrosse. After signing on the dotted line to play for Manhattan College in 2014, they joined their respective women's and men's lacrosse teams the following year and immediately connected over two loves: Michigan and McDonald's fries.

While Talia stole a fry or 2 (or 3 or 4) during the very first night of welcome week, Mac shared stories of his hometown of Grosse Pointe, Michigan and proceeded to show her exactly where this was on his handy Michigan map. While Talia was born and raised in New Jersey, she spoke of visiting Michigan annually to see her family while simultaneously texting them about the cute midwest man she met on day 1.

From this day forward, Mac was determined to spend his days getting to know the caring, bubbly and studious girl who loved to disguise invitations to the library as dates. On November 2nd, 2015 Mac asked Talia to officially be his girlfriend and spend their days laughing, learning and growing together.
