Q + A

What are the COVID-19 Vaccination requirements?

We are so excited for everyone to join together and celebrate! For the safety and comfort of all of our friends and family, and in compliance with the regulations of our venue, we respectfully require proof of vaccination and boosters in advance of the wedding. Please email a copy of your vaccine card to nlmarcus24@gmail.com or send a text to 202 341 1400. Thank you!

Will there be transportation to the venue?

Yes, we have arranged a shuttle service to and from the hotel blocks and wedding venue. If you are making your own arrangements, we highly recommend that you take an Uber/Lyft/taxi rather than drive, as parking is very limited. Shuttle Transportation: 4:30 pm: pick up from Hyatt House | 4:45 pm: pick up from Intercontinental | 4:45 pm: pick up from Canopy by Hilton | 9:30 pm: first shuttles back to hotels as needed | 10:30 pm: final shuttle from venue until 11 pm | 11:00 pm: final shuttle

Which airport should I fly into?

Ronald Reagan Airport (DCA) is probably the most convenient airport to fly into. If you prefer to use Dulles (IAD) or BWI, it is easy to take public transportation or a cab. We have included websites with tips on getting to and from each airport. For DCA: https://freetoursbyfoot.com/dca-reagan-national-airport/ For BWI: https://freetoursbyfoot.com/transportation-bwi-airport-washington-d-c/ For Dulles: https://freetoursbyfoot.com/transportation-washington-d-c-dulles-airport/

Which Metro stop is closest to the Wharf (hotel block)?

L'Enfant Plaza (Yellow, Green, Orange, Blue, and Silver Lines) is about an eight minute walk. With luggage, you might want to take an Uber or Lyft. The Waterfront (Green Line) is about a 5 minute walk. There is also a free neighborhood shuttle that can take you between the metro and the Wharf. How do I inform you of my dietary restrictions?

Please inform us of any dietary restrictions by emailing us at nlmarcus24@gmail.com or texting 202 341 1400.

Will the food be kosher?

The food will be kosher-style, with the meat coming from a certified kosher vendor. This means that, while there will be a mix of meat and dairy served throughout the evening, the two will not be mixed within the same dish. All food, including the meat, will be prepared in a non-kosher kitchen without supervision from a mashgiach. If you keep strictly kosher, we recommend that you select the "Glatt Kosher" option on the RSVP card. This will ensure that you are given a special, certified kosher meal during dinner.

What are the menu options?

We have asked for your meal choice on the RSVP card. The following are the three entree options. Gluten free and Glatt Kosher meals are available upon request. Beef: Rib Eye with Porcini Mushroom Powder and Aged Balsamic Glaze | Fish: Roasted Sea Bass with Mustard and Sherry | Vegetarian: Miso-Ginger Butternut Squash and Black Forbidden Rice
