5th & Broad is a great option for food, bars and shopping downtown where you can see the honky tonks without getting in to the middle of them. Most of the restaurants and several of the shops are local.
We recommend Prince's, Slim & Huskies and Thai Esane for food here.
Five Points in East Nashville is an excellent area for some more local shops, restaurants and bars to check out. We spend most of our time on this side of downtown now and there's no shortage of good selections here.
We recommend Noble's, Tree House, Rosemary and Beauty Queen or Five Points Pizza.
Germantown is another great part of Nashville within 5 mins of downtown. Here you can find some of the best restaurants in a very walk-able part of town which is rare for Nashville!
We recommend checking out Von Elrod's, Sonny's, Mother's Ruin, Germantown Cafe or Oku.
If you're looking for something a bit more lively to do, Broadway in downtown Nashville is full of both historical and brand new honky tonks to enjoy live music and drinks. We suggest having a drink or two before you go to match the mood downtown.
While there's plenty to choose from, we like Luke Bryan's, Tootsie's, Nudie's and Honky Tonk Central.
Cheekwood is beautiful every time of year and definitely worth a visit. We like it so much, we got engaged here!
McCabe is one of our favorite places to do a walk around town. It's a scenic 3 mile loop that has a paved path around a golf course, through the woods and by some creeks the dogs love to play in
