Camp Lakotah is located just on the border of the North Woods of Wisconsin, a stunning region of peaceful pines and crystal-clear lakes. If you're able, we recommend "making a trip" out of it!

Door County, Wisconsin
Door County is a strip of beautiful towns and beaches stretching up from Green Bay into northern Lake Michigan. Check out historic bed and breakfasts, idyllic walks, delicious Wisconsin food & beer, and of course the water. Door County is a Midwest destination with great tourist infrastructure, ideal for a few days of relaxation.
Camping
You can't go wrong camping in Wisconsin. Nils and I try to go at least once a year. We highly recommend Old Veteran's Campground in Governor Earl Peshtigo State Forest: https://dnr.wisconsin.gov/topic/StateForests/govearl/recreation/camping
Fishing

Breweries
Wisconsin is famous for its beer (and its brandy old fashioneds--be sure to give one of those a try while you're here). From New Glarus to Great Lakes to City Lights, you can dedicate weeks to tasting Wisconsin's incredible local beer and still not be done! Check out brewery guides, including a few nearby Wautoma. If you're traveling through Milwaukee or Madison, we recommend stopping for a burger and a beer for lunch!
