Q + A

When and where is the wedding?

Tate and Mariko will be having an intimate wedding on a private property in Honolulu. They will be getting married in the morning prior to the reception.

If invited, what should I wear to the private ceremony?

Since the ceremony will be outdoors, please dress in "dressy daytime attire." This can include: sundresses, aloha shirts with long pants, etc.

What should I wear to the reception?

Please dress along the lines of cocktail attire or business casual. This may include: cocktail dresses or jumpsuits, aloha attire with jackets, etc.

If I am invited to the reception, am I also invited to the ceremony?

Unfortunately, due to a limitation on guests allowed at the ceremony venue, we were only about to invite our immediate families and close friends. We're looking forward to celebrating with you all during our reception!

Can I bring a "plus one" to the reception?

Due to limitations of seats in the restaurant, if there was not an additional name specific alongside your name in the "RSVP," please assume the invitation is only for you. Each seat has been reserved by name and we won't be able to allow casual additions to the reception. Thank you for understanding and cooperation!

Where can I park for the ceremony?

Those invited to the ceremony, please refer to the address on your invitation. There will be staff on the property guiding you where to park. There is a limitation for parking availability, therefore, we ask that you carpool (if can, three or more guests per vehicle).

Where can I park for the reception?

At the restaurant's property, any general parking for the other restaurants/stores (e.g., Nico's) are available for you to self-park at.

Are you accepting gifts?

We appreciate gifts and the thoughtfulness of them since they're coming from you. Since we are in the middle of a big life transition, we welcome monetary gifts through our registry or at the reception's reception table.

If I have more questions, what can I do?

Feel free to text or call Mariko or Tate for more information as requested. Thank you for celebrating with us!

What is your wedding color?

French Blue!
