Freshman year of high school, Devin and I had the same art class. Before this we had several classes together, we just never talked before. It was in that class we decided to start "Cat Shirt Monday" it became a legacy that our younger siblings are pushed to continue ;) we wore cat shirts every Monday until graduation. In the beginning of Sophomore year, my family had just moved to a new house in town, I had to take a new bus and we just so happened to move two blocks away from Devin's. Devin and I got closer on our walks to and from the bus stop as well as the bus rides. We started dating sophomore year of high school and we fell hard and fell fast. It all worked out though because we supported each other and never held the other back. Living two blocks from your high school sweetheart is amazing and we had the best time then. After graduation, Devin moved out into an apartment and we got our first cat together, Alaska. Devin began working full-time and was quickly promoted to manager positions. I decided to earn my BS in Psychology with a minor in disability services through the University of WI-Stout. I graduated with honors in December 2020 and am currently perusing a masters in science of counseling psychology at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA. Devin accepted a position as a kitchen supervisor at Giant Eagle in Pittsburgh, PA and we are loving our apartment and the life we are creating together.
