Is this wedding child friendly?

Yes! We both have many young family members that we would love to attend the wedding. We plan to have activity books to help keep the kiddos occupied!

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Come as you are, just be sure to dress for the weather!

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Late August in WI is beautiful, it may be warm so dress accordingly. The reception goes until 10pm so maybe consider a light jacket for after the ceremony.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

My wonderful MOH's parents offered us to use their cabin property for the ceremony and reception, so they will both be taking place outdoors on the same property.

Where should I park?

There will be people to help guide you in the parking process. Pull into the driveway and watch for the signs!

What happens after the ceremony?

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head to the reception tent where we will be serving snacks and beverages. There will also be yard games available to pass the hour.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Can I bring a date?

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. Unfortunately, we will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Most friends and family are in the area, so we decided not to reserve a hotel block. Check out our "Travel" tab to see hotel options in the area.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

We would like to have everyone's RSVP by July 1, 2022 so we can ensure to have enough food and beverages for everyone. We are accepting RSVP's through this website or by mail.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

We ask no cell phones during the ceremony, but after absolutely! Please use the hashtag #MarryingMetcalf so we can keep track of all the pictures!

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?
