What should guests wear?

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day, especially since we want you to look and feel your best in all the photos we've hired the photographer and videographer to take of all of our loved ones partying the night away. Dress code is Black Tie optional-formal wear. Ladies can aim to wear floor length gowns, midi formal, or a fancier cocktail dress. Gentlemen can aim to wear a nice suit/tuxedo, dress shirt, and tie. Please stray from jeans, khakis, t-shirts, white dresses, sundresses, hats, or other informal wear. Take this as a fun advantage to dress up fancier than you usually would!

Where is the cocktail hour and wedding reception?

Cocktail hour will take place at 6:00PM-7:00PM at the Grand Rotunda at the resort. This is located in the back of the resort near the main tavern. Reception will take place down the hall from the cocktail hour at the Emerald Ballroom located within the resort. It is a short walk that does not require stairs for either. There will be signs and help around the resort if you need assistance!

Will there be an open bar?

Of course! Open bar will last throughout cocktail hour, reception, and after party. There will be bar service and table cocktail service. There will be full liquor options, beer, wine. You know both of our families love to party, we’re looking to have a great time with all of you driving so far to celebrate- so just make sure if you’re drinking you have somewhere to stay!

What color are bridesmaids and groomsmen wearing?

We can't wait to showcase our amazing wedding party in olive green gowns and black tuxedos!

Do I need to pick my meal prior to the wedding day?

You will be able to select from 3 seasonal and freshly cooked options on the menu the night of the wedding once you are seated at your tables. If you have any severe food allergies or restrictions please let the Bride & Groom know so we can be sure to accommodate ahead of time. (We will allow a spot when you RSVP to note these restrictions!)

Will there be an after party for everyone?

We are so excited to have everyone that’s a part of the wedding continue the party in Crystal Springs Biosphere Tropical Pool! It’ll be an after party like never before- yes that’s right a tropical pool after party! It’s just a few steps away from the reception hall and there will be late night food, open bar, music, dancing, swimming, slides, and so much fun! 11pm-1:30am (a lifeguard will be there!)

If I want to go to the after party but am not staying directly in the reception hotel, where can I keep my things?

We’ve spoke with Grand Cascades and there will be a door man right outside the reception hall to hold your bathing suits and belongings with plenty of spots to change afterwards! You’re welcome to come party in your dresses and suits too don’t feel obligated to swim!

Is there a shuttle if I’m not staying at the reception hotel location?

Yes! There will be a shuttle from Grand Cascades where the reception takes place back to Minerals, the sister hotel about 5 minutes down the road! We will list the times here closer to the wedding so check back for those! There’s also air bnbs in this area that the shuttle will be bringing you decently close too! They will shuttle after the reception and after party. If you choose to stay at an air bnb not near Minerals, or one of the many other hotels in the area, unfortunately you’d have to drive (parking is free), Uber, or Lyft!

Where is the morning after breakfast?

The brunch will take place in the resort's Garden Room which is down the grand stairs near the reception ballroom. Everyone is invited to brunch with us to say our goodbyes after our wonderful celebration the night before. We'd love for you to join for a breakfast buffet, coffee, and one last beautiful view over the mountains/ golf course.

When does the room block discounted rate expire/ which days are included?

Room block will only be held for guests up to 50 days prior to the event. Please be sure to book your rooms prior to Thursday, August 8, 2024. Due to the time of the year and the leaves changing, THESE ROOMS WILL SELL OUT! We recommend the sooner you can book the better. The dates included in the rates are Thursday, September 26 and Friday, September 27. Reach out to us if you run into any issues with the hotel reception!

Are kids welcome?

We love your little ones so much, but our wedding will be an adult-only event other than our amazing little flower girl and ring bearer. Take this as an opportunity for your parent's night out and plan ahead of time!

Can I take pictures or video during the ceremony?

We would kindly suggest an "unplugged" ceremony, but we do not mind if you want to snap a few quick photos/ videos. We ask that you are fully present with us for the best day of our lives and would be respectful of the photographer/ videographer by not holding up cell phones in their way of photos or taking calls/texting during the ceremony! You can kindly take pictures if you're respectful to other's view of the ceremony around you.

When is the RSVP deadline and how do I RSVP?

Please follow the date on the invitation and let us know as soon as possible! Follow the RSVP tab of this website. We apologize for not having them mailed back, we did not want to risk losing some of them in the mail and hope you can all understand.

Where should I park if I drive to the wedding?

Park in the main parking lot for free at the Grand Cascades Lodge with ample parking along the resort and golf course. The best spot to park is the far left entrance near the reception! There will be no valet services offered unfortunately.

What can I do between the church ceremony and the cocktail hour?

We understand there is a gap in the timeline of your day and we would love if you'd grab a drink at the hotel bar right next door to the cocktail hour, used the time to check into your hotel and freshen up for the long night ahead of us, or even enjoyed the beautiful weather and scenery with the many areas to relax in the area. There will be plenty of food & drink served at cocktail hour (how could we not focus on serving our guests only the best- we're foodie lovers!)-so please don't feel obligated to eat prior!

Can I bring a date?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, there will be a place to share your plus one's name on the RSVP. Reach out to the bride through text if you have any questions. Thank you for understanding!

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Yes, we do, of course! Please use #RingingInTheRoekers when posting pictures on social media so we have a connection between all our loved one's photos and memories. Keep your eye out for the QR code at the reception so you can also share your photos with everyone!

Where is the ceremony held?

The Bride & Groom have chosen to take the traditional route to the wedding and have no first look with a Roman Catholic church ceremony. The church is St. Stephen's RC Church, 75 Sanfordville Road in Warwick, NY. It is about a fifteen minute drive to the reception venue, it's on the route from Connecticut to the resort too.

Is everyone invited to the church ceremony?

Yes, we'd love everyone coming to the reception to please come to the ceremony so we can share the most important moment in our lives with all our loved ones in the pews supporting us. There is plenty of space within the church for everyone to enjoy.

What time is the church ceremony?

3:00PM, please arrive early!
