Getting To/From the Airport

The easiest way is a 45 minute ride aboard the HSL train. Single ABC tickets can be purchased using the machine on the platform. See more details about traveling around town with HSL transit below.

Taxis and Ridesharing apps like Uber and Bolt are also available, and all accept credit card payment.

We don't recommend renting a car while you're in town because public transportation is great! The HSL network includes Trams, Buses, Trains, Metro, and even some Ferries.

We recommend a multi-day AB pass while downtown, but you'll need a single ABC ticket for travel to/from the airport.

Tickets are valid for a time duration, rather than from one destination to another - meaning you can travel on multiple modes of transportation until the time expires.

Keep in mind, tickets must be purchased before boarding and are not sold onboard.

We have two private ferries departing from Kauppatori (Market Square). Please arrive at 3:15pm for a 20 minute ride to Suomenlinna. These ferries will bring guests back from Suomenlinna at 11pm.
