Q + A

Are the ceremony and reception happening in the same place?

Yes! In between the ceremony and reception will be an on site cocktail hour in the loft above. Guests are welcome to go upstairs for drinks before dinner, or ponder any local establishments before the dinner and reception start!

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm. Please know, doors will close 5 minutes before (4:25pm) to allow everyone to be seated. Doors will not open back up until after wedding processional/entrances are completed. Plan to arrive any time after 4pm.

How should I plan to dress for the weather?

August is typically warm in WI. However, weather and rain as we know can be unpredictable in Milwaukee. Good news is both the ceremony and reception will be located inside so no need to plan much for weather!

Can I bring my children to the wedding?

We love all of you, and all of your kiddos, but are asking no children to attend. We hope everyone can come share fun night to themselves as we celebrate! Thank you in advance for your understanding!

Can I bring a plus one or extra guest?

Any plus ones or guests will be listed on your online RSVP. Due to venue capacity and catering capabilities, we ask that only the guests listed in the RSVP attend.

Can I take my own pictures during the ceremony?

We please ask that no photos are taken or cell phones are used during the ceremony, until cocktail hour. We have a wonderful photographer secured to capture all of our moments and will share all photos after our day with friends/family. Please feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like during cocktail hour and the reception!

Is there a dress code?

We ask that guests plan for semi formal attire. We also recommend something that will be comfortable to dance in as we plan on keeping the dance floor busy all night long!

How do I RSVP?

Please click the link here if you have not been able to find the RSVP tab on the website: https://www.theknot.com/us/taylor-delong-and-jake-puent-aug-2024/rsvp You will be able to RSVP for yourself and your household. Please make sure to answer the questions in the RSVP as they pertain to dinner options!

When is the deadline to RSVP?

Please do so by July 1st! If you originally planned to attend, and are now unable, please let us know! Your presence will be missed, but we will adjust our totals to accommodate appropriate food/beverages. We would hate to have food go to waste!

Is there parking on site?

The Gage does offer parking on the corner of 70th and Washington. You will see a sign for the Gage parking when you turn onto Washington St from 70th st. We will not be offering any official transportation, so please plan ahead if you do plan on driving. A block of rooms has been reserved at the home 2 suites across the street (see travel tab for details). Please stay safe and plan accordingly if you decide to enjoy the bar services.

What if I have more questions?

Please do not hesitate to reach out with any other questions you may have!
