Our Wedding

Taylor and Nic met as many couples do--online, but quickly formed a profound and meaningful connection the more time they spent together. However, their meeting wasn't completely left to chance. A group of Taylor's friends, after celebrating Valentines' Day as a group of pals, came together with the common goal to find matches for each other. Their plan? To round-table swipe by committee on matches for each of their friends. This meant that Nic's profile had to pass the scrutiny of each of Taylor's friends, not to mention her own, before he received a swipe of approval. There was some debate about his pictures being too far away to see his face (to this day, Nic swears this isn't true but Taylor politely disagrees), but eventually the round-table agreed that he was a great match! Nic, much to Taylor's chagrin, would like to say that that first date was like finding love, magic, and the future in one beautiful moment. He found out later about her friends and he couldn't be more grateful to them. Their date ended on a rather unfortunately dense moment on his part (she went in for a kiss and he went in for a hug!), but his anxiety and the hopeless romantic in him took a leap and spurred him to call her on her way home to asked if their feelings were mutual. Taylor hadn't even made in through her front door but she was charmed by how honest and genuine he felt, so she agreed to a second date. Sure enough, it worked out and she said yes to much more than a first date. He couldn't have been more excited to introduce her to all his friends and family and have a second, third, and even a 1000th date. All of this is to say that their union was blessed by friends from the first day they were introduced. Anyone who's met them can agree that they hold an honest and genuine love for each other.
