Will there be parking available?
Parking will be available at the venue to the right of the house. We encourage guests to make travel plans ahead of time if they plan to drink alcohol provided. Our venue has indicated that cars can be left in the parking lot overnight if necessary. We'd like everyone to be as safe as possible!
Are plus ones and/or children allowed?
Yes. We want our guests to be as comfortable as possible. If you'd like to bring a plus one, we ask that you indicate this on your RSVP along with their name for seating purposes. If you have not indicated that you will be bringing another person on your RSVP, please do not bring one. We depend on this list to determine seating and catering information.
Similarly, please indicate on the RSVP if you will be attending the event with your children so that we may prepare for them as well.
Is there a reserved hotel block?
No, guests traveling from out of area are welcome to book rooms at any amenities nearby. There are rooms available at the Hornsby House as well as some hotels locally, however, we cannot guarantee that these rooms remain available if booked later.
Can I stay overnight at the Hornsby House?
Yes, the Hornsby House does have rooms available for guests who'd like to stay. Unfortunately, these rooms may be reserved because of peak season so they advise guests to reserve rooms sooner rather than later.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outdoors and the reception will follow indoors with a patio for dancing and a lawn for games and other activities.
Is the day uplugged?
While we will prohibit phones during the ceremony itself, we encourage guests to take any photos they'd like during the reception and cocktail hour. Guests are welcome to use the onsite photo booth and take photos of the event on their own phones after the ceremony has concluded.
Is it okay to post photos of the wedding day on social media?
Of course! We'd love to see your photos online.
What should I do if I'm late to the wedding?
If you arrive late to the wedding and the ceremony has already started, we ask that you please wait respectfully near the parking lot until the ceremony has finished. Do not attempt to find seating once the event has started.
How can I contact the couple for further questions?
The best way to reach us before the ceremony is to contact Taylor by text or phone. If you do not have her number, you can reach out via email: derossetttaylor@gmail.com
I can't find the RSVP page--how do I RSVP?
The RSVP deadline for our wedding has passed. We have already sent the final guest count to our caterers and venue. If you or your plus one haven't RSVP'd by now, we cannot offer you seating or dinner.
