Nicole and Lucas both went to high school together, which is eventually how Taylor got introduced to Nicole. Since Taylor didn't know very many people in Stevens Point, her and Nicole began to hang out more and more and became besties!

Kassy, Lucas's sister, was basically Taylor's sister as soon as they met. They both have the same personality and grew close after Taylor was forced to do pig calls at a family bon fire. Since Taylor is an only child, it means a lot to her that she gets to finally have a sibling and now be able to be called auntie!

Taylor and Allie met in college, the first day of orientation to be exact. They had no idea how to schedule their first semester of classes, so they relied on each other. They both also played club volleyball for Stout. Even though they live 3+ hours away, they still make time to see each other :)

Morgan is Taylor's same age cousin. They both went to kindergarten together and had no idea they were related. Once they got older and finally realized that, they hung out quite a bit throughout middle and high school. No matter what's going on, they always find a time to meetup during hunting season.

Taylor and Hunter were besties ever since before they were born. Both of their parents went to high school together, so they grew close right away. They both fell in love with volleyball, which they bonded over. Even though they don't see each other much anymore, they still pick up right where they left off.

Taylor and Lucas first met Alexis in Plover, when her and Alex moved into the same apartment complex as them. Ironically, Taylor and Alexis went to UW-Stout at the same time and didn't even know it! They have a lot in common and still find time to hang out even amongst their busy schedules.

Ben is Lucas's uncle even though he feels like a brother. They grew up together and worked together at Rich Weiler Concrete. They still remain very close since they live near each other in Point and Rapids.

Lucas's brother-in-law, Hunter loves to fish and hunt, which is what him and Lucas bonded over. Even though Hunter had no eyebrows when he first met Lucas, he still made a good impression. Lucas is excited to now be called uncle Luke.

Lucas met Colton in college, right out of high school. They had basically the same major, which focused on wildlife and the outdoors; they both dropped out at the same time because they found that it wasn't the right fit for them. Even though Colton and Lucas live far away now, they still remain close by keeping in touch often.

Lucas met Dawson through Taylor. Dawson and Taylor met in college at UW-Stout and were roommates, along with 2 other people, their junior year. Dawson is from Loyal, which is only about 30 minutes from Abbotsford, where Taylor grew up. Even though Dawson and Taylor had a friendship first, Lucas and him grew into really good friends because of shared interests and their similar personality.

Jason—Lucas’s dad—has taught Lucas so much throughout his life, shaping him into the man he is today; especially the always down to have a good time trait. Him and his wife, Melissa, live just down the road from Lucas and Taylor, and having his crazy, fun personality, nearby has been great.

Franklin is Lucas's uncle on his mom's side. He has always been apart of Lucas's life, whether it was babysitting, living close by, or even staying with Lucas and his family at their house for awhile. Even though they don't see each other as often anymore, it's nice to catch up during family functions and be able to see all of his cousins.
