Two swipes right and the rest is history. Right? Not quite.

Taylor and Stephen matched on Tinder in January of 2020. Taylor was looking for the perfect hand holder for her long flights home to Newfoundland.

Stephen knew he was the right guy for the job, but offered a bargain. He would take the job, as long as he was able to keep one hand free for pretzels and a beer. It was an offer Taylor couldnt refuse.

The two got to build their connection over an Alan Doyle concert, what they didn't know is traditional dates would be a thing of the past, as COVID shut the world down.

In March of 2020, just a quick week of dating Stephen decided to ask Taylor if she would be his girlfriend. A burst of laughter, and a yes was the start of their journey together.

With all the madness happening around them, Stephen and Taylor used the extra time to get to know each other on a deeper level, strengthening their bond and relationship faster than expected. Learning new recipes, creating at home date nights with themes, and creating their own knife throwing kit.

The two become inseparable and their bond grew stronger with time.

Navigating change has been the theme of their relationship. The two have endured multiple career changes, the world shutting down and reopening, moving in with one another, including welcoming home their loving, goofy, shaggy sheepadoodle, Ono.

Through it all, their love for each other has remained unbreakable.

On May 8th, 2022, on Stephen's birthday, they promised each other forever. Not without a burst of laughter, a shut up, and a nibbling puppy to seal the deal.

On August 17th, 2024 these two are set to tie the knot. Taylor and Stephen are excited to add yet another chapter to their relationship and celebrate their story with their loved ones.
