All Wedding Day events (Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception) will take place at The Line Hotel in Washington D.C.
What should I wear to the welcome drinks?
Dacha is a casual beer garden - we encourage you to be comfortable but camera ready!
What should I wear to the ceremony and reception?
The dress code is black tie optional.
Ladies, midi dress or long dresses that you'll want to hit the dance floor in.
Gentlemen, dark suit or tuxedo. Please no jeans, khakis, or suit separates.
Which airport should I fly into?
We recommend DCA (ie; Reagan National). The Line and downtown DC are easily accessible from DCA including by Metro and Uber. There are plenty of direct flights to DCA from most major airports.
If the flight schedule out of DCA does not work for your travel needs, we encourage you to check flights into IAD (Dulles) or BWI (Baltimore). Both are easily accessible to D.C. via public transit and Uber, but are farther from the city.
Where should I stay?
We have a room block at The Line, where all day of events are taking place. A link for our room rate is in the Travel section.
If you want to stay elsewhere, we encourage you to look at the following neighborhoods: Adams Morgan, Dupont Circle, Foggy Bottom, Logan Circle, or Georgetown.
How should I plan to get around?
Parking is often expensive and inconvenient. We do not recommend renting a car. If you choose to rent a car there is valet parking for a fee at The Line
Washington D.C. is highly walkable city with plenty of public transportation and bikes to get from point to point.
If you find yourself going a bit further than you'd like to walk we notice that Lyft is generally more affordable in the city than Uber.
