After a summer apart, Jordan and Taylor officially became a couple in Fall of 2015. Taylor tried her hand at powerlifting, a passion of Jordan's, and they enjoyed walking around the city and getting to know each other better. Jordan, being one for nicknames, had coined the name Biscuit for Taylor that year, after she had sustained a second degree sprain to her ankle and was hopping around on crutches. He and Grant had made a joke about Seabiscuit, the race horse, and the name stuck from that point on. He's been calling her that ever since.

Summer of 2016 brought the couple even closer together when they decided to get their own apartment in St. John's while Taylor completed Spring semester and Jordan worked as a server at YellowBelly. They grew a lot and learned what it meant to truly have a partner you could rely on when times were tough.

In 2017, Taylor graduated from Memorial University and went to study orthopedic technology in London, Ontario. This marked their longest stent of time apart, as Jordan continued to pursue his degree in primary/elementary education. That year was one of the hardest times for the couple, but not because of a lack of confidence in their bond. Their relationship is what helped anchor them and provide comfort when life got crazy.

After returning to St. John's, Taylor began working at the local hospital and Jordan completed his education degree. Living together, they accumulated furniture, took in friends when they needed a place to stay, and explored the East Coast Trail. Their love grew bigger and bigger and it became clear to them that this is the sort of thing that could last a life time.

On a monday in May, Jordan took Taylor to Torbay Point on Cobblers Path, her favorite trail, with their friends Andy and Dan. Taylor immediately felt her stomach sink and anxiety washed over her. She knew something had to be up when he suggested she wear her nice jeans. She had spent the last year anticipating a hike to a beautiful look out where he would pop the question. But suddenly this felt different than every other time she thought it would happen.
As Andy took pictures of the scenery, she also was on a mission to capture the moment Jordan proposed. There was a beautiful sunset, with a refreshing breeze. And though Jordan was expecting a defibrillator punch to the chest, he got an elated "yes" and a warm embrace instead.

Since the engagement, Taylor and Jordan have been enjoying their life together, with no rush to plan a wedding. They are still living happily in the St. John's Metro Area, with their three guinea pigs. They continue to hike, explore, dine out, frequent coffee shops and local stores on the weekends. They continue to explore their own interests along side each other.
Jordan has become a strongman coach, and has competed internationally, and looks forward to his latest competition at worlds in Finland in September 2023.
Taylor continues to explore every type of creative outlet she can find. Currently she is captivated by watercolor and sewing, and she painted her first mural in the Summer of 2023 for the city of Mount Pearl.
The couple believes that it is their ability to grow and be each others biggest fans is what makes them such a good pair. They allow themselves to continue to have their own identity outside of their relationship, which makes so much room for them to keep falling in love all over again with the new evolutions of themselves.
