Jordan and Taylor have a vision for their wedding day where they can express their love for each other in privacy and comfort. Where they only have to think about the needs of one another. Where they can slow down and enjoy each others company, because that is what it is all about.
Then why have a reception?
Although they wish to enjoy some peace and quiet on their wedding day, Taylor and Jordan cannot imagine not celebrating such a big life achievement without their friends and family around them! The Reception is their opportunity to involve everyone who is in support their marriage and who enriches the couples lives.
Where is the Venue for the Reception?
Located at the Irishtown Community Center in Irishtown-Summerside. This is about a 15 minute drive from the bridge that crosses the Humber River from Corner Brook to the North Shore highway. It will be on the left hand side of the road and it shares a parking lot with the community playground and fire station.
For Google Maps, if "Irishtown Community Hall" does not provide a location to drive to, please try:
183 Main St. Irishtown-Summerside
Will there be food or a meal?
There will be no formal meal provided.
However, finger foods and snacks will provided and will be put out later that evening during the dance. There is zero obligation to bring any snacks, but if there is anything you would like to add to the spread, feel free to do so.
With that said, please be courteous of the Brides many food allergies, and check in with her or a family member before spending money on that shrimp ring!
Can I BYOB?
BYOB is permitted and encouraged! Why worry about what will be available or if the bar will run dry when you can bring your own personal favorite drink of choice! Feel free to stow the coolers near or under your table!
Transportation
Transportation will not be provided. Cabs are not normally accessible to this area for pick up. Guests are responsible for arranging their own transportation or assigning their own designated driver.
Please do not drive impaired.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just yourselves and a good mood!
If you feel so inclined to bring a card or gift, there will be a space designated for its safekeeping.
What should I wear?
While Jordan likes to keep it casual most days, he is taking Taylors lead on this one and even he will be dressing his best! Wear whatever you makes you feel like a million bucks and still comfortable enough to dance the night away. The couple looks forward to getting pictures with all of their guests so be ready for a photo op! (As long as it's not white!)
