Dunes West River and Golf Club is a gated community. They will be expecting our wedding guests. Once you arrive at the gate, drive to the window and tell them you are going to the clubhouse for Taylor Schilling and Jay Heck's wedding. They will let you through.

Yes! The ceremony and reception will both take place at Dunes West River and Golf Club.

The ceremony will be outdoors along the bank of the Wagner Creek under a large live oak tree. The reception will be inside the golf clubhouse. Should it rain, the ceremony will be moved indoors.

During the day, you can expect temperatures in the mid-70s while in the evening temperatures often drop into the low 50s. Please note that if you wish to visit the beach, it can be up to 10 degrees cooler than inland temperatures.

Yes, there will be plenty of parking space available next to the venue site.

Yes, Charleston International airport is ~30 minutes from Dunes West, and 20-30 minutes from the blocked hotel.

There are numerous hotels, Airbnbs, and VRBO's in Charleston. We have blocked a hotel listed under "Travel". If you don't want to stay at those hotels, that's okay! We recommend looking for hotels in Mount Pleasant, downtown Charleston, Daniel Island, or near the airport / Tanger Outlet in North Charleston. If you plan to extend your stay in Charleston, check out rentals on Sullivan's Island, Isle of Palms, Folly Beach, Kiawah Island, and downtown.

Yes, there will be a shuttle to transport guests from the blocked hotel to the venue, as well as back once the reception is over. If you decide to drive to the venue, there is also ample parking available close by.

The option to RSVP link via this website won't be available until invitations are mailed. Once the RSVP link is available, please click on "RSVP" at the top of the page and follow the directions provided.

The bar will be open and will have standard house liquor, domestic beer, and red and white wine options. It will also have coke products.
