Kayak in Mount Pleasant's Shem Creek (and get a drink afterword at one of the many bars located along the creek)
Park at Waterfront Park in Mount Pleasant and walk the pedestrian lane of the Ravenel Bridge. This bridge travels from Mount Pleasant to downtown and is ~5 miles roundtrip. You may even see a cargo ship passing underneath!

The path used to be a road connecting Mount Pleasant and Sullivan's Island, but was repurposed after suffering damage from hurricane Hugo.
