The ceremony will start at 5 PM. We ask that you arrive 30 minutes early to grab a drink and find a seat!
Who can I bring with me? Are kids welcome? Can I bring a plus one?
Although we would love to be able to accommodate everyone on our big day, space is limited at the venue. Please refer to the names on your envelope and to the number of seats we have reserved for you on the back of your invitation. If you have any questions, please reach out. We ask that you please be respectful of our guest list for our big day!
What are my transportation options?
There is plenty of parking at the venue. While you may be able to get an Uber to the venue, it may not be feasible to get one back due to the distance and spotty cell service. If you RSVP'ed that you needed transportation, please see the shuttle information under the "Getting There" tab--details may be updated as it gets closer.
What kind of food will be there?
We will be serving a delicious family-style barbecue dinner! The menu will consist of smoked beef brisket, barbecue chicken, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, caesar salad, and dinner rolls. If you have any dietary restrictions that don't mesh with the above items, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.
What should I wear?
We are aiming for cocktail or semi-formal attire, but please wear whatever makes you most comfortable! Our venue is primarily outdoors with an open barn, so plan accordingly. It does get chilly at night so we recommend bringing a jacket. Ladies, the ground is a little bumpy so you may want to take that into consideration with your shoes. Gents, please don't feel obligated to wear a tie or a jacket unless you want to!
Is there an open bar?
Duh ;) But please drink responsibly! We will not be serving hard alcohol, but there will be beer, wine, and seltzers. The drive from the venue consists of winding country roads--if you are planning on driving, please be safe and have a designated driver.
