Nearly four years ago, while getting together with friends Doug asked if anyone knew a girl who was smart, successful, attractive, and had their sh*t together. Surprisingly enough, Taylor's best friend from high school and her husband thought that description matched Taylor. Both Kayla and Anthony began to snap Taylor asking if she would be interested. Taylor took a chance and texted Doug...and the rest is history.

At the time Taylor and Doug met, Taylor was living in Maine and Doug was living in Milwaukee. They would Facetime and text for hours, getting to know everything about each other. After weeks of talking, Taylor and Doug talked about doing something crazy and having Doug fly out to Maine to finally meet Taylor. After weeks of waiting, on October 9, 2020 Doug and Taylor finally got to meet in person and went on their first "In-person" date including all of their favorite things, a brewery, hiking, and delicious food.

Fast forward 3 years, Doug and Taylor are able to make the trip to Maine together again. On a misty, cloudy morning, Doug convinced Taylor to try and watch the sunrise at Otter Cliffs. After sitting and hoping for the clouds to clear, Doug and Taylor decided to head into town for breakfast but before they left Doug suggested getting a picture to commemorate their failed sunrise. After multiple attempts with their camera timer, Doug finally was able to run, trip, and kind of get onto one knee to ask Taylor to marry him.

Taylor and Doug are beyond excited to have their closest family and friends join them in Montana to say "I do!". After meeting and falling in love hiking and enjoying the mountains, they couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else.
