We ask that guests arrive no later than 4:15pm, 15 minutes before the ceremony begins.

The ceremony will take place outside in the English Rose Garden, behind the mansion. In the event of inclement weather, we will move to the indoor glass-enclosed pavilion. The cocktail hour will take place between the garden patio and the mansion's first floor. The reception will be held in the glass-enclosed pavilion, directly next to the garden and mansion.

No! The entire wedding will be held on The Antrim's grounds.

There are multiple lots on the venue's property, and one across the road. If you are staying on site you will have parking outside of your house.

Cocktail or Formal.

The Antrim 1844 has 40 rooms on-site, between the main house and other, smaller houses on the property. We will have a room block that guests can join to take advantage of our group rate, available until June 15th. See more information on the 'Staying at The Antrim' page.

Frederick, MD is about 30 minutes south of Taneytown, and Gettysburg, PA is about 20 minutes north. If you have some extra time in the area, spend some time exploring the shops and restaurants in Frederick, or walk/drive the battlefield in Gettysburg.
