Alex and I met at UW-Whitewater where we both attended school. Alex majored in Communications and myself in Elementary Education. A mutual friend of ours hosted a get together where we met. We had only met a few more times before I left to study abroad in Galway, Ireland. Besides happy birthday posts, we didn’t have much contact until I got back.

May of 2019, when I came back to Wisconsin, he was hosting an end of (school) year friend evening and I went.
We hung out more times before we finally went on our first date in November of 2019 to get dinner at a local restaurant, Second Salem.

We have gone through Covid, living in two different states, and so much more but we have always had each other to rely on. We are very excited to take the next big step in our lives together.
