Our Wedding

Alex and I met at UW-Whitewater where we both attended school. Alex majored in Communications and myself in Elementary Education. A mutual friend of ours hosted a get together where we met. We had only met a few more times before I left to study abroad in Galway, Ireland. Besides happy birthday posts, we didn’t have much contact until I got back. May of 2019, when I came back to Wisconsin, he was hosting an end of (school) year friend evening and I went. We hung out more times before we finally went on our first date in November of 2019 to get dinner at a local restaurant, Second Salem. We have gone through Covid, living in two different states, and so much more but we have always had each other to rely on. We are very excited to take the next big step in our lives together.

Meghan is Tessa’s older sister. Although they are 6 years apart (actually 5 years and 11 months to be specific), you would never tell based on how close they are to one another.

Mariah has always been a welcoming face and bringer of joy to Tessa in the family. Mariah also joined the family when she married the grooms brother, Nick.

Sommer and Tessa were random roommates their freshman year at UW-Whitewater and lived together their entire undergraduate years!

JJ and Alex's friendship began in high school, and a strong bond formed over the mutual love of sports, gaming, and shenanigans.

Peytonn met Tessa their first years teaching together in Baraboo and quickly became friends. Now, they are once again co-workers (and still friends) in Stoughton.

Hotel block rooms available at the Tru by Hilton from 2/6/26 - 2/8/26

There will be a school bus doing pickups and drop-offs between the Tru by Hilton hotel and the wedding Venue. It is about a 10 minute drive between the hotel and venue. The Marriott hotel is located next door to the Tru, the schedule for bus pickups is listed below: Pickups at Tru3:15 pm4:30 pm Pickups at Venue, departing for Tru:10:00 pm11:45 pm
