We stayed friends throughout middle school and, thanks to bridesmaid Hailey, we were set up on a fun carnival date, with her of course!

Brock asked me to my first high school homecoming dance in front of a hallway of our classmates. We went to the dance together and had lots of fun, truly the beginning of it all!

Brock and I started dating on Halloween while watching cheesy Halloween movies in his basement. Pictured here is the first of my many years watching and stressing over Pirate hockey games.

Lots of fun high school memories followed. This one highlights the rivalry built between us by UND and Gopher Hockey.

Lake days at Long Lake full of waterskiing and boat time quickly became some of our favorites.

Our first concert together, Ed Sheeran! We were always looking for fun adventures, even at ages 16/17.

Thankful for sisters who would always take photos for us, even if they did NOT want to. This one was taken right behind Brock's backyard.

Brock went to every swim meet he could make it to throughout high school and college. He became quite the swim expert (from the stands)! This was after my senior section swim meet.

Brock and I were long distance for the 4 years of college, me at College of Saint Benedict, him at South Dakota State University. Our weekends were often filled with 3.5 hour drives to visit each other. This was a period of growth, trust, sadness, and fun in our relationship. Pictured is us at Brock's first SJU football game!

More college visits, this time to SDSU to a Jacks football game. We have so many good memories from our weekend visits.

Us at the airport in Minneapolis as I took off on my 4 month study abroad adventure to London. Brock and my mom sent me off that day. This was the longest we have ever spent apart throughout our relationship.

College graduation from CSB and SDSU this spring. This brought an end to our 4 years of long distance and the start of our next chapter in Sioux Falls.

On a trip to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to celebrate graduation (or so I thought), Brock proposed to me on Au Train Beach during a perfect sunset on the shores of Lake Superior. Such a special night and trip as a whole, beautiful scenery and fun exploring. The best week of celebrating us!

Our engagement session this summer in our new home, Sioux Falls, SD. In the midst of new jobs, wedding planning, and staying connected with family and friends, we have been busy but loving this season of engaged life. Patiently awaiting July 12th!
