What's the deadline to RSVP?

It would be great if you can RSVP as soon as you know your plans. However, the final deadline to RSVP is July 20.

What should I do if I can't make it?

We completely understand if you can't make it and know that you will be missed! All you need to do is RSVP on this site (see the "RSVP" page) so we can plan accordingly.

Are the ceremony and reception in the same place?

Yes, it's a one-stop-shop. The wedding ceremony will take place outdoors on an open deck, followed by cocktails on an adjoining covered deck, and the indoor lunch in a neighboring banquet room.

What's the parking situation at Ray's Boathouse?

There is ample on-site parking for those of you that are driving!

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive between 10:45am and 11:00am. The ceremony will start around 11:15am. (We know this is an early start and for that, we thank you with mimosas which will be available upon arrival. Don't be shy, grab one before the ceremony!)

What should I wear?

Honestly, we are not picky. Google tells us to describe the event attire as "semi formal" or "dressy casual". You should wear whatever your heart desires so that you are happy and comfortable (except jeans, let's go with no jeans).

Do you recommend any hotels for out-of-towners?

There won't be too many non-locals in attendance but for those that are, thank you for making the trek out this way! :) We would recommend a few places depending on what you're looking for... 1) If you want to stay close to the venue, you'll want to check out Hotel Ballard. It's a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Ballard, less than 2 miles from Ray's Boathouse. 2) If you prefer to stay in downtown Seattle, we would recommend The Thompson in Belltown, which is more upscale with a great rooftop bar and is in walking distance to Pike Place Market and the waterfront. Another option would be CitizenM in South Lake Union. This hotel has a really fun design aesthetic, is in a great location, and at a very affordable price. If there are other areas or hotels you had in mind, just reach out to us. We are happy to provide additional ideas/recommendations!

Why aren't you having [insert typical wedding item here]?

It's true, we are not doing many of the typical wedding activities such as a wedding party, dance floor, cake, etc. While we appreciate all of those traditions, we wanted to host a celebration that felt more uniquely "us". It might be a little different than other weddings you've attended, but we hope you have fun at our casual and laid-back celebration!

Do you have any local gym recommendations?

Ok, we didn't actually expect anyone to ask this but yes, yes we do! All guests are invited to work out at Pandora Fitness or CrossFit Felix. (You better believe Theresa will be hitting her fitness harder than normal a few days before the wedding, feel free to join her!)
