January 1, 2017. A new day. A new year. The beginning of something life changing. The University Club of Chicago once again hosted their annual New Year’s Day event. Our friends, Brittany Reed and Emilie Neumeier (bridesmaids), both worked with Andrew at Morningstar and are Theresa’s best friends. They saw Andrew outside of the library of the club and introduced us. That short conversation was the beginning of a beautiful friendship of group dinners, charity events, and casual hangouts.


In 2018, Andrew moved to Las Vegas, NV for work, but we never lost touch. January 2020, Andrew moved back to Chicago just in time to run into Theresa and Siobhan (Theresa’s sister/Maid of Honor) at the First Look for Charity Auto Show event, before the COVID-19 pandemic changed everything. Throughout the beginning of quarantine, our friend group committed to a weekly zoom call.


When the city of Chicago began to open up after lockdown, Andrew and Theresa met up for the first time on July 5th. This began a beautiful relationship which brought us to March 25, 2023-the engagement!


We are so excited to be continuing the celebration on October 5, 2024 when we exchange vows and say “I DO”!
