Pre-check in

Skip the wait and begin relaxing as soon as you arrive. Complete your pre-check-in now for a seamless, hassle-free arrival at AVA Resort Cancun.

https://www.avaresortcancun.com/pre-check-in.htm

If you arrive BEFORE check-in time (3pm), you can still check in, get your wristband at the front desk, and keep your luggage with the concierge. Once you have your wristband, change to your tropical outfit or swimsuit and jump right into the pool, grab your drinks, and head straight to one of the restaurants.

Please note that their SALES team will try to pitch you to sign up and pay for club membership. Just decline and insist on zero interest, and they won't bother you again.

Dinner Reservations

There're 17+ restaurants and bars at AVA. While many of them allow walk in, there are some extremely popular fine dining restaurants that recommend reservations in advance so you can secure a table for your group.

For dinner reservations and pre-arrival question, please email: prearrivalconcierge@avacancun.com

You can find the fine dining menus here: https://www.avaresortcancun.com/fine-dining.htm

Top 5 most-rated fine dining at AVA:

1. Black Iron (steakhouse)

2. Chez Moi -- Adult only (French)

3. Veranda (Italian)

4. Copal (Modern Mexican)

5. Kita (Japanese teppanyaki and sushi)

If you want more Asian food, including whole roasted duck and Vietnamese Bun Bo Hue, check out Bao restaurant!

I recommend to reserve ASAP as we're only less than 3 weeks away.

Activities and Events

As part of the all-inclusive feature, many activities and entertainments are also included in your room rate!

You can view the Calendar of Events and Activities here, select either Weekly Activities or Teen Activities:

https://www.avaresortcancun.com/events-calendar.aspx?date=5/1/2025&display=list

You will be assigned a butler at check-in and they can help you to sign up for the FREE activities, like yoga/fitness classes, snorkeling program, pickleball, kids program, etc.

There are some amenities that cost extra, example: Bowling, Escape room, Spa, beauty salon, tours and excursions, etc. To book any of these, please email: vacationmakers@avacancun.com

PLEASE NOTE:

If you book with our wedding group, you will get $200 Resort Credits per night, and can be used for some of the specials mentioned above and more. Email Vacation Makers for a full list. There will be a 35% service fee of the listing price, example, if you book Hydrotherapy ($100), you would pay $35 out of pocket. I'd recommend to book the Hydrotherapy at the Spa for a relaxing time together with your family and you can stay for as long as you need.
