To make this process as easy as possible, we have come up with a quick guide to make sure planning your vacation goes smoothly.
Before booking any of the following please check your passports.
Since this is an international trip, you do need a passport valid at least 6+ months past your travel dates. Passport cards are not valid for international air travel. If you have a passport, be sure to check the expiration date. If you don't already have a passport, it is a good idea to apply early to be sure you receive it in time for your trip. We suggest applying a minimum of 4 months in advance as a precaution.
To apply for a new passport or update an expired passport visit Travel.State.Gov.
To reserve your room please click the link located on the RESORT + TRANSPORTATION page. This will bring you to our travel agents booking website where you can choose your room type and duration of your stay. A $150 deposit is needed to reserve your trip. The 2nd deposit: 50% of the total room cost is due by June 26th, 2025. Final payment: The remaining balance is due before August 27th, 2025.
Transportation to and from the resort is not included in your stay. We recommend using AMSTAR as your shuttle service. You can find the email and link to book under the RESORT + TRANSPORTATION page. Please make sure you book a roundtrip reservation. There are several options you can choose from to meet your needs and budget. Feel free to share a shuttle with other guests who are traveling the same days/times as you!
Please make sure to share your flight information with AMSTAR so they know when to pick you up and drop you off at the airport.
Airfare is not included and will need to be booked on your own. You will fly into the Cancun International (CUN) airport. Once your flight is booked our travel agent will need you to email her your flight information so she can coordinate your ground transfer from the airport to the hotel. It is recommended that you book your flights 2-8 months before departure. We recommend using Google Flights or Hopper to monitor available flights and pricing. However, we encourage you to book directly on the airline's website to avoid added fees or misunderstandings with the airline. This is a great opportunity to use any travel points you may have!
Even if you are planning on checking a bag, it is always a good idea to bring a carry-on with all of the most important items that you would need to get you through a few days (from medication, to toiletries and swimwear).

The resort provides the guests with beach towels to use on property, therefore you do not have to pack any if you do not want to!
