Yes! There will be bottomless pop and juice at the reception, and each guest will all be given one (1) drink ticket to use at the bar for one of our signature cocktails (or mocktails) or other alcoholic beverages. Further alcoholic refreshements can be purchased for 2 toonies ($4) each.
IMPORTANT: Please bring cash for this purpose as there are no card readers at this bar. However, we will also have a backup e-transfer set up if you forget to bring cash!
What date should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by June 1st at the latest so that we can plan and coordinate the necssary vendors accordingly.
Can I bring a plus one?
While we would love to have everyone bring a plus one, due to budget and capacity restraints please only bring a guest if your invitation specifies "+1" on the name line.
Can I bring my children?
Please only bring the guests listed on the invitation envelope. While there will be some children in attendance, unfortunately we were not able to invite all children due to capacity restraints.
When should I arrive to the wedding?
Please plan to arrive to the wedding with enough time to be in your seats at 1 o'clock. The parking lot is a short walk to the ceremony space, so we recommend planning to be about 20 minutes early.
What should I wear?
We are requesting semi-formal or formal attire please! The only excpetion being the usual refrainment from white for the ladies and tuxedoes for the men.
Will there be food?
OF COURSE! There will be a small snack directly after the ceremony (during the cocktail hour), but dinner will not be until 6pm. Please have a nice lunch beforehand! Barrhead is a short drive away if you feel peckish, however. There will also be an evening snack, and, of course, CAKE!
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Our venue is aptly named! The ceremony will be outside and the reception will be in the large adjacent pavilion.
What kind of activites will there be?
Bring some good shoes for playing lawn games if that's your cup of tea! There will be an opporunity to relax and enjoy these after the ceremony. At the reception, there will also be a lot of dancing!
