Tia heard a lot of talk about Jake through some mutual friends. She saw several silly photos and snapchat videos of him being a goofball. Immediately she thought, "He's real cute and he's gonna be my boyfriend!" and she was on her mission.

The two finally met after one of their friends set up a hangout at Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers. Jake picked Tia up from her house and the two met their friend at the chicken shop. After a while, the friend left and it was just Jake and Tia. Immediately Tia felt a deep connection. She loved that he maintained eye contact and could carry on a laughter-filled conversation. But Jake had no clue that she was into him.

Weeks go by and the two have hung out a few times, continuing to enjoy each others' company. Tia is rizzing Jake up with heart emojis and sending him all of the hilarious snapchat art she made instead of paying attention in class, and Jake is still clueless of her feelings for him. He's just thinking that he's making a great friend.

One day in her culinary class, Tia had baked some brownies and decided that she was going to shoot her shot. Because the two went to separate schools, the end of the school days were different for them. Tia's day ended a couple of hours earlier than Jake's, so she had the idea to leave some brownies at his car on her way home from school with a note that read, "something sweet for someone sweeter".

When Jake got to the car and found the note he was surprised. He loved the sweet gesture and was starting to realize that maybe this girl had a bit of a crush on him. Just incase he was getting the wrong message, he calls his dad and asks if he thought that Tia liked him. The response Jake got was, "really Buddy-Guy?" and from that moment Jake knew he had to pursue Tia.

Jake mustered up the courage to ask Tia to be his girlfriend and Tia immediately said yes! Her brownie trick worked!

The couple shared 7 adventurous years together where they would explore the world, share even more laughter, become grown ups, and settle into their careers before Jake would finally plan his proposal.

Jake planned the perfect weekend in Sedona for their 7th dating anniversary. There were beautiful hikes, delicious restaurants, fresh air, and breathtaking views surrounding them as they celebrated 7 years together.

Then came the moment. Jake took Tia to a private area of the resort with a lookout that had a view of the entire city of Sedona. Surrounded by an astonishing view, he got down on one knee, and out came the question that made Tia's biggest dream come true, "Tia Nanami Walker, will you marry me?" Squealing with excitement, she couldn't say yes fast enough!

A few months later they moved into an apartment together and have started their lives together and are finally tying the knot to live happily ever after!
